According to Elle UK, Lily Allen will be the new face of Chanel accessories! Yay! I love Lily, and apparently Karl does too. She'll be starring in the F/W 09 campaign. It's so nice to see a girl who is shorter than 5'9 and who weights more than 100lbs in a major fashion campaign.

Zooey Loves Cotton.

About a week ago I was watching re-runs of The Real Housewives of New York City (I love to hate Kelly, but that's a whole other post) and was pleasantly surprised when I saw/heard Zooey Deschanel singing on the television.  In my mind I was like "Oh yay! I love Zooey Deschanel! And this song is so cute! And so is this commercial!"  But then reality struck.  It's a cotton commercial.  I thought it was a commercial for an album of hers or something, I don't know.  I think the commercial is adorable, but I'm not sure how I feel about Zooey lending her talents to the fabric of our lives.  I can't decide!  What do you think?

Paul Dano on Nylon TV!

Remember Paul Dano's AMAZING performance opposite Daniel Day Lewis as Eli Sunday in There Will Be Blood? Here he is on Nylon TV!  Am I the only one who thinks he's kind of cute?  Maybe its because he's such a talented guy.

Gweneth Does Good

Gweneth Paltrow is selling off some pieces from her wardrobe - including clothing, shoes, and bags - on Ebay.  The auction benefits the Robin Hood Foundation, a New York City based charity targeting poverty in the city.  So if, like me, the idea of wearing a celebrity's clothes doesn't floor you, think about this:  The pieces are in great condition, probably barely have been worn, and are really cheap.  Seriously, there is a Furla bag for only $140.  Oh, and the shoes are size 8.5 /9.  Bid away!

Gweneth Adds Designer to Her Resume

Gweneth Paltrow is designing a capsule collection for French label ZOEtee's.  There will be seven looks in the collection and it's called ZOEtee's Loves Gweneth Paltrow.  WWD calls the collection "a melange of Seventies glamour, rock inspiration, and men's casual suiting.  Here are some sketches that Ms. Paltrow did herself.

Tilda Swinton Is Awesome.

Tilda Swinton is obviously the coolest actress out there.  Oh, you don't agree?  Well she's always the ONLY celebrity to wear actual fashion to award shows.  No ho-hum glamour gowns for T. Swin, no no.  Tilda always wears totally daring pieces, mostly by Lanvin.  She's not like most celebrities that wear the pretty, dainty Lanvin pieces (which I also love, by the way).  NO!  Tilda pushes the envelope with the daring, less accessible gowns.  Yes! Thank you Tilda!
