YSL Goes "Vintage"
We all know the recession is really hard on luxury brands right now. Most brands are reacting by having bigger sales and lowering price points. Not YSL. In reaction to disappointing sales, YSL is creating a "vintage" capsule collection, with pieces made from recycled fabrics one used in other YSL garments. Seriously, this is right up my ally. Vintage and new at the same time? Genius. Plus, one of the pieces could be made from fabric sewn by Yves himself.

Decisions.
FACT: This bracelet is YSL Spring 09
FACT: It originally sold for $285
FACT: It is now on sale for $113.90 on Saks.com
I really love this bracelet, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. Basically I'm afraid that I only like it because its YSL for pretty cheap. But, its so pretty and antique-y. I don't know! Decide for me! Should I get this bracelet?

Birthday Wish.
So, today is my 20th birthday and I only want one thing. Well, one of many things. I want a fashion internship in New York. So far I've applied to the PR dept. at French Connection, The Saavy, and I'm currently preparing my applications for the YSL PR dept. Keep your fingers crossed! Oh, and if you know of any internships, let me know!
