Kanye's Kicks

The ad's for Kanye West's Louis Vuitton sneakers leaked today.  The shoes look cool, I guess.  I still think they look like colorful marshmallows for your feet.  And is Kanye selling shoes in this ad, or himself?  I choose the latter.

Scott Schuman Shoots Kanye

Apparently, Kanye asked Scott Schuman, of The Sartorialist, to take his picture outside the Preen show.  No surprise there.  We all know Kanye is trying to wiggle his way into the industry,  first by designing a men's sneaker for Louis Vuitton and now by vying for an internship at a "house" (fashion house, that is.  Not an actual house).  Maybe he'll be at Preen or Band of Outsiders?  He's  been spotted at both shows. Personally, I love Kanye and I think his flamboyant personality would be refreshing in current gloom and doom atmosphere in the fashion industry.  Thanks economy!
