Kim Gordon / Urban Outfitters
Oh Kim, I love your forays into various mediums of art! Kim Gordon has designed a small collection for Urban Outfitters. It's called Mirror/Dash, from the name of Kim and Thurston Moore's side project. I love the skirt at left; I'm a sucker for a good high waisted skirt. But, I don't know how I feel about the rest of the collection. The styling in the little ad is good, but the pieces are kind of boring. I want to say I love it because I love Kim Gordon, and Sonic Youth. I don't know.

Today's Sample Sales
Ideeli is having a sale on Marc Jacobs shoes and sunglasses. Anyone want to buy me these shoes?
Gilt Groupe is having a Zac Posen Sale. I really love this canary yellow skirt, but it's out in my size . . . so sad.
or, if you want to channel Christopher Kane's fall 09 collection, you could go with this dress. It's considerable less brilliant, and actually a bit too much. But still, you can tell there are similarities, can't you?

House of Holland Fall 09
I am eternally grateful to Henry Holland for creating such a fun collection for Fall. A girl needs come bright color to get her through these tough times, you know? Most of the pieces are totally wearable, but maybe without being paired with matching tights. I especially love that last pink shift. Although this collection isn't as awesome as some of his past, it's not bad.

Luella Fall 09
I LOVE Luella. This season's collection is noticeably less girly than her past (I'm still lamenting the absence of bows). But I have to say I dig the grown up Luella girl. She's like a punk schoolgirl who joined the military. Hey, if thats what it takes to look this cool, where do I sign up?
